Orders for 15 devices secured since participating in security industry Tradeshow

Detroit, Michigan, Sept. 27, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc., (OTCPK:AITX), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD) has received six orders, totaling fifteen units, from two recently signed authorized resellers and four existing authorized resellers. The product line of fifteen safety devices ordered since the last public announcement includes eleven RIOs, two ROSAs and two AVAs.

“Coming home from a major GSX show, the RAD dealer network responded with healthy new business,” said Mark Folmer, President of RAD. “Four of our very active dealers and two newer dealers confirmed that what we showed at GSX is precisely what their customers demand.”

RAD exhibited at GSX 2022 in Atlanta September 12-14. RIO, several ROSA and AVA were exhibited at the security industry show.

“RAD dealers are aware of what is happening in the security services industry,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX and RAD. “They face ongoing security staffing issues on a daily basis and hear from their customers demanding more technology and automation to reduce costs and keep their properties secure. It is inevitable that these problems will lead them to RAD. Our mission is to solve their customers’ security issues while saving them money,” concluded Reinharz.

RAD plans to make additional announcements of other recently signed authorized resellers and other sales updates in the immediate future.

RIO was designed with portability and round-the-clock performance at its core. RIO is completely autonomous and self-sufficient. All the components needed to provide security and surveillance day and night are included with RIO. All networking hardware and software is provided, including RAD’s “optimized cellular” connectivity. At its base is a sturdy portable trailer positioning the unit’s two solar panels and housing the device’s high-performance batteries and control systems. RIO’s retractable mast extends nearly 20′ where a single ROSA is mounted, providing a conveniently positioned 180° field of view with its two high-resolution PTZ cameras. To achieve a 360° field of view, a ROSA-Expander unit is also available.

ROSA is a multi-award winning, compact, self-contained, portable security and communications solution that can be deployed in approximately 15 minutes. Like other RAD solutions, a standalone ROSA only requires power, which is supplied when configured with RIO, as it includes all necessary communication hardware. ROSA’s AI-powered security analytics include person, gun, vehicle detection, license plate recognition, responsive digital signage and audio messaging, as well as full integration with the RAD software suite notification and self-contained response library. Two-way communication is optimized for cellular, including live video from ROSA’s two high-resolution, color, always-on cameras. RAD has released two case studies detailing how ROSA has helped eliminate instances of theft, trespassing and vagrancy at rental car agencies and construction sites across the country.

AVA (Autonomous Verified Access) is a compact, pole-mountable unit that provides a 180° edge-to-edge field of view with advanced access control to gates and other controlled entry points. AVA takes full advantage of the RAD software suite providing an ideal solution for logistics and distribution centers, stockyards, structures and parking lots, corporate campuses; wherever increased visibility is needed at a fraction of the cost. At ISC West in late March, AVA was named the winner of the 2022 SIA New Products and Solutions Awards in the Access Control Software, Hardware, Devices & Peripherals category.

RAD’s parent company, AITX, has applied for OTCQB listing. Future announcements will be made regarding the status of the OTCQB application.
