Keysight Technologies has selected Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd retiming/gearbox devices for its Layer 1-3 800GE network device and Ethernet protocol test solutions for network infrastructure. Keysight provides comprehensive 800 GE Layer 1 to 3 test coverage with a comprehensive set of use cases and 800 GE to 100 GE Ethernet port speeds, while leading the industry in port density highest per rack mount unit in test solutions.

Keysight selected Credo for its second-generation 800GE networking solutions based on customer demand for two strategic test capabilities: first, high-performance chip-to-module SERDES with 112 Gbps electrical lanes with PAM4 signaling for 1x800GE and associated slower port speed support. Most importantly, the ability to provide auto-negotiation and link (AN/LT) training – which we believe is essential to support the required passive and active direct-attach copper (DAC) cabling for switch and server interconnects in equipment racks that are deployed in large volumes in data centers.

“Keysight’s close collaboration with Credo enables us to provide the global networking industry with a complete set of test and measurement capabilities that address the diverse and rapidly growing ecosystem of 800GE-compatible components, network devices in silicon and network equipment systems,” said Ram Periakaruppan, vice president and general manager, Keysight’s network testing and security solutions business. He continued, “The critical aspect of growing the 800GE ecosystem is helping manufacturers develop and demonstrate the ability of all of these devices to successfully interact.

“In today’s data-driven economy, no business should bet on data center performance, hence the need for differentiated equipment testing solutions that provide end-to-end validation of network infrastructure. said Scott Feller, vice president of marketing at Credo. “It is an honor to work with a trusted industry leader like Keysight to enable data center operators to validate 800GE devices in complex environments constrained by space, capacity and power. »
